Her debut novel, Heart's Gambit (Winter 2026), is a sweeping romantasy about two time-traveling Black families cursed to fight in a deadly magical duel every generation—and the star-crossed lovers destined to break the cycle once and for all.
When she’s not spinning tales of magic, murder, and mayhem, J.D. is probably chasing after her kids, indulging in chocolate, or getting distracted by things that glitter. Connect with her at www.jdmyall.com.
