J.D. Myall is an author, associate agent at Tobias Literary, and adjunct professor at Drexel University. Before turning to publishing, she worked as a photographer. She hosts the Craft Chat Chronicles podcast, where she talks with authors and publishing insiders about their craft and careers. Her work has appeared in Ms. Magazine, Writer’s Digest, and HuffPost. She is the author of the Heart’s Gambit duology, which includes her debut novel, Heart’s Gambit, and its sequel, Pawn’s Fate. When she’s not conjuring magic, murder, and mayhem on the page, she helps emerging writers find their voices through teaching and mentorship. Want J.D. to lead a workshop or speak at your school, library, writers’ group, or event? Reach out here—she’d love to connect.
